F2 Champion Théo Pourchaire Brings High-Speed Thrills to Kandima Maldives 🏎️🌴

Adrenaline hit new heights at Kandima Maldives this August, as Formula 2 champion and rising F1 talent Théo Pourchaire swapped the racetrack for paradise during a two-day takeover on the island’s brand-new Fast Track, the Maldives’ longest asphalt oceanfront karting circuit.
Karting 101 & Guest Time Trials

Théo guided guests of all ages through the fundamentals of racing - from mastering apex turns to understanding braking points and racing lines. Families and budding racers then put their skills to the test in guest time trials, with the top performers earning the once-in-a-lifetime chance to compete wheel-to-wheel against Théo in a thrilling finale race.
Behind the Scenes of A Karting Career

Beyond the track, Théo hosted an intimate motorsport Q&A, offering rare insight into the discipline, training, and mindset required to succeed at the highest level. Young fans were captivated by his stories of race-day rituals and the pathway from F2 to Formula 1.
Kart Craft at KULA Art Studio

Adding a creative edge, Théo also led a Kart Craft session at Kandima’s KULA Art Studio, where guests designed miniature helmets and karts. The winning design earned an exclusive prize, proving racing at Kandima is as much about imagination as speed.
With less than a month left of Summer Kamp 2025 (7 July – 7 September), Kandima Maldives is redefining the island holiday experience. By pairing bold lifestyle-led programming with world-class talent, the resort is creating a two-month festival of music, motorsport, art, and family fun — giving guests rare access to professionals like Pourchaire while showing how leisure and learning can go hand-in-hand.
